It has never been cheaper to fly to Spain, with the fierce competition of Budget airlines flights can cost as little as a few UK pounds (airport taxes excluded). Many major tourist destinations in Spain are catered for by one of the major budget airlines, including Malaga airport, Barcelona Airport, Madrid Airport, Jerez Airport and many more. As an example we selected a Ryanair flight from Stansted Airport to Almeria Airport departing 3 March 2006 returning 11 March 2006 this was priced at £19.95 + airport taxes of £15.18 departing Stansted and £19.95 + taxes of £9.33 making a total of £64.49 for the return trip to Stansted. In comparison we priced an Easyjet flight on the same route on the same dates the price came in at £59.98 including taxes return. There are other carriers that also fly this route so it pays to shop around. Most airlines flights can be booked online.
